STRENGTH & HONOR
This original oil painting celebrates the American Bald Eagle, which after 250 years was officially declared the national bird of the United States on December 25, 2024. Symbolizing "Strength & Honor," the eagle pays tribute to the bravery of those who served, fought, and sacrificed their lives for our country, securing our freedom and independence.
Perched on a branch with its back turned to the viewer, the eagle is rich with symbolism. Its profile, with a piercing gaze, conveys nobility and determination, while its posture suggests readiness and vigilance as it guards our nation. The branch it grips represents peace, anchoring the eagle in a stance of calm watchfulness.
The historic flag clutched in its talons highlights its active role in safeguarding American ideals, while also honoring the nation’s origins. The original flag, representing the 13 colonies, recalls the courage of those who dared to challenge Britain and form the United States, driven by an unyielding belief in liberty and unity in the pursuit of freedom.
Together, these elements evoke a profound sense of pride, and hope for the future, serving as a powerful reminder of our nation’s resilience and its enduring commitment to the promise of the American dream.
